Stephanie Robinson

Stephanie Robinson, a Principal Partner at the Education Trust, has dedicated more than 30 years of experience working with communities to ensure that all students reach high standards.

Prior to joining the Education Trust, Robinson spent many years working to improve public education.  She has served as a public school teacher/administrator in the Montclair, New Jersey school system. She has also served as the Deputy Superintendent of the Kansas City School District in Missouri.  Additionally, Robinson spent numerous years as the Education Director for the National Urban League where she designed and implemented the National Education Initiative.

At the Education Trust, she provides technical assistance to school districts implementing standards-based reform.  She works with boards of education, school administrators, principals and teachers to implement policies and practices aimed at improving teaching and learning. 

Robinson graduated cum laude from Douglass College, Rutgers University; received a Master’s in Social Work from the Rutgers Graduate School of Social Work; and earned a Ph.D. in Human Growth and Development/School Administration from the Union Institute.
