Writer
The Education Trust seeks a Writer to join the organization’s Government Affairs and Communications division. Founded in 1992, The Education Trust works for the high academic achievement of all students, pre-kindergarten through college, with the goal of closing the gaps in opportunity and achievement that separate low-income students and students of color from other youth.
We believe in the power of words to advance our mission. The Writer plays a key role in helping shape the discussions that support the organization’s policy, practice, and advocacy efforts. Reporting to the Director of Communications, this bright, quick thinker’s primary function is to help convey the Education Trust message in clear, compelling language through a variety of formats and to a variety of audiences.
