What are State K-16s?
Across the country, leaders in K-12 and higher education are putting together more powerful partnerships to prepare all students to meet high standards, and to ensure that teachers are able to teach all students to high levels. The National Association of System Heads (NASH) and the Education Trust have put together a network of state university system and state K-12 leaders who are implementing statewide K-16 improvement strategies in their states. Twenty-two states are now participating in the state K-16 effort, each represented by teams including leadership from postsecondary education, K-12, business and community-based organizations. |
