NCTSC Research
The National Center for Transforming School Counseling is committed to working with our network partners to determine effective practices in school counseling that hold school counselors accountable for academic success for all groups of students.
The higher education centers involved in the transformation of school counseling including: The National Center for School Counseling Outcome Research at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst http://www.umass.edu/schoolcounseling/; Center for Student Support Systems, Studies and Services at the University of San Diego http://www.sandiego.edu/soe/instcenter/studentsupp/ are two school counseling research sites providing technical assistance to the NCTSC. Other universities/ school partnerships involved in transforming school counseling are: California State University, Northridge; Indiana State University; Ohio State University; State University of West Georgia; University of Georgia; and University of North Florida.
Additionally these centers and/or universities are engaged in conducting research projects which will add significantly to the body of knowledge in the field of school counseling.
