Achievement Gains Over Time: State-by-State

4th Grade Reading Scale Scores, 1998-2002

Where are minority students making the largest gains?

The following tables show how many points African American, Latino and White students gained or lost on the National Assessment of Educational Progress between 1998 and 2002.  The tables only include those states that participated in both years and had enough members of each student group in the testing sample.
